Άγιος Δημήτριος

Ονομάζομαι Ιερός Ναός του Αγίου Δημητρίου, βρίσκομαι στη Θεσσαλονίκη, στην ομώνυμη οδό και είμαι αφιερωμένος στον πολιούχο της πόλης. Η ιστορία μου είναι πολύ μεγάλη. Χτίστηκα πάνω στα ερείπια του ρωμαϊκού λουτρού, όπου φυλακίστηκε, μαρτύρησε και κατά την παράδοση ετάφη ο Άγιος Δημήτριος το 303 μ.Χ.
Η αρχιτεκτονική μου είναι πεντάκλιτη βασιλική του ελληνιστικού τύπου. Χτίστηκα αρχικά τον 5ο αιώνα, αλλά κάηκα τον 7ο αιώνα και το 1917.
Τα κιονόκρανά μου ανήκουν στον 5ο αιώνα, ενώ τα ψηφιδωτά μου προέρχονται από τον 5ο ως τον 9ο αιώνα. Μπορείτε να θαυμάσετε επίσης και τοιχογραφίες από τον 8ο ως τον 15ο αιώνα.
Μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον έχει και η κρύπτη μου, που βρίσκεται σε υπόγειο, κάτω από το Ιερό Βήμα. Εκεί βρισκόταν ο τάφος του Αγίου Δημητρίου. Ακολουθώντας τον διάδρομο θα βρεθείτε στις δεξαμενές που δέχονταν το μύρο του Αγίου. Στην κρύπτη μου εκτίθενται γλυπτά, κιονόκρανα, μωσαϊκά και άλλα έργα τέχνης από διάφορες φάσεις της ιστορίας μου. Στο εσωτερικό μου διατηρείται ένα ακόμη ιστορικό κειμήλιο, ο τάφος του Λουκά Σπαντούνη, άρχοντα της Θεσσαλονίκης, του 15ου αιώνα. Το 1988 ανακηρύχθηκα Μνημείο Παγκόσμιας Κληρονομιάς από την UNESCO.

Saint Demetrios

I am named Holy Church of Saint Dimitrios. I am located in the center of Thessaloniki and dedicated to the city’s patron. My story is very long. I was built on the ruins of the Roman bath, where Ι was imprisoned, martyred and according to tradition buried in 303 AD.
My architecture style is Five-aisled Basilica of the Hellenistic type. I was first constructed on the 5th century but burned to the ground on the 7th and in 1917. My capitals belong to the 5th century, while my mosaics come from the 5th to the 9th century. You can also admire frescoes from the 8th to the 15th century. Of great interest is also my crypt, located in a basement, under the Holy Bema. There is the tomb of Saint Demetrios. Following the corridor you will find yourself in the tanks that received the myrrh of the Saint.
In my crypt are exposed sculptures, capitals, mosaics and other works of art from various phases of my history. Moreover, I keep in me the older and most important religious painting of Saint Dimitrios, as well as Luka’s Spandun tomb, one of the city’s lords, in the 15th century. In 1988 I was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Mein Name ist die Agios Dimitrios Kirche. Ich befinde mich in Thessaloniki, in der Straße, die meinen Name trägt und ich bin der Schutzpatron der Stadt. Meine Geschichte ist sehr lang. Ich wurde auf den Ruinen von den Romischen Bädern gebaut, wo der Heilige Dimitrios gefangen, gefolfert und im nachhinein 303 n.Chr deerdigt wurde.
Ich bin eine Basilike Kirche der griechischen Architektur.Im 5. Jahrhundert wurde ich erbaut und im 7. Jahrhundert durch so wie auch 1917 einen Brand zerstört.
Meine Säulen gehören zum 5. Jahrhundert, meine Mosaike jedoch zwischen dem 5. bis 9. Jahrhundert. Außerdem kann man auch die Wandmalerei aus dem 8. bis 15. Jahrhundert bewundern.
Sehr interessant ist auch meine Krypta. Sie befindet sich im Keller unter dem Altar der Kirche Dort war das Grab der Heiligen Dimitrios.
Wenn man durch der Flur geht sieht man die Tümpel mit meiem Salböl. In meiner Krypta gibt es einen große Ausstellung mit außergewöhnlichen Kunstwerken. Im Inneren der Kirche befindet sich ein geschichtliches Denkmal das Grab von Lukas Spantounis einen Adligen der Stadt des 15. Jahrhunderts. 1988 wurde ich Denkmal der UNESCO ernannt.

Je m'appelle Église de Saint Dimitrios, je me trouve à Thessalonique, sur la rue éponyme, et je suis dédiée au patron de la ville. Mon histoire est très longue. J'ai été construite sur les ruines d'un bain romain, où Saint Dimitrios a été emprisonné, martyrisé et, selon la tradition, enterré en 303 après J.-C.
Mon architecture est celle d'une basilique à cinq nefs de type hellénistique. J'ai été initialement construite au 5e siècle, mais j'ai été incendiée au 7e siècle et en 1917. Mes chapiteaux datent du 5e siècle, tandis que mes mosaïques proviennent du 5e au 9e siècle. Vous pouvez également admirer des fresques allant du 8e au 15e siècle.
Ma crypte, située dans un sous-sol sous le Sanctuaire, suscite également un grand intérêt. C'était là que se trouvait le tombeau du Saint Dimitrios. En suivant le couloir, vous atteindrez les réservoirs qui recevaient le saint chrême. Dans ma crypte, des sculptures, chapiteaux, mosaïques et autres œuvres d'art provenant de différentes phases de mon histoire sont exposés.
À l'intérieur de moi se trouve un autre trésor historique, la tombe de Loukas Spandounis, seigneur de Thessalonique, datant du 15e siècle. En 1988, j'ai été proclamée Monument du Patrimoine Mondial par l'UNESCO
