Κήποι του Πασά

Είμαστε οι Κήποι του Πασά, ένα από τα δημοφιλέστερα αξιοθέατα της Θεσσαλονίκης. Βρισκόμαστε στην Άνω Πόλη δίπλα στην εκκλησία του Αγίου Παύλου. Η περιοχή όπου χτιστήκαμε ανήκε στην εκκλησία και παραχωρήθηκε αργότερα στην Φιλόπτωχο Αδελφότητα για την ίδρυση νεκροταφείου. Η κατασκευή μας τελείωσε το 1904 και έχουμε έκταση 1000 τ.μ. Εδώ υπάρχει ένα συντριβάνι, μια στέρνα για τη συγκέντρωση του νερού, μια χαμηλή πύλη που οδηγεί σε ένα υπόγειο χώρο και ένα υπερυψωμένο καθιστικό. Αποτελούσαμε κήπο του Νοσοκομείου του Αγίου Δημητρίου αλλά τώρα η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη στο κοινό. Η προέλευση του ονόματός μας δεν είναι σίγουρη και υπάρχουν πολλές εικασίες για αυτή.
Pasha Gardens

We are the Pasha Gardens, one of the most popular attractions in Thessaloniki. We are located in the Upper Town next to the church of Agios Pavlos. The area where we are built belonged to the church and was later given to the Philoptochos Brotherhood for the establishment of a cemetery. Our construction was finished in 1904 and we have an area of approximately 1000 sq.m. There is a fountain, a cistern for collecting water, a low gate leading to a subterranean space and an elevated sitting room. We used to be the garden of the Agios Dimitrios Hospital but now the entrance is free to the public. The origin of our name is not certain and there is much speculation about it.

Wir sind die Pascha-Gärten, eine der beliebtesten Attraktionen in Thessaloniki. Wir befinden uns in der Oberstadt neben der Kirche von Agios Pavlos. Das Gelände, auf dem wir bauten, gehörte zur Kirche und wurde später der Philoptochos-Bruderschaft zur Anlage eines Friedhofs übergeben. Unser Bau wurde 1904 fertiggestellt und wir verfügen über eine Fläche von 1000 qm. Hier gibt es einen Brunnen, eine Zisterne zum Sammeln von Wasser, ein niedriges Tor, das zu einem unterirdischen Raum führt, und ein erhöhtes Wohnzimmer. Früher waren wir ein Garten des Agios-Dimitrios-Krankenhauses, aber jetzt ist der Eintritt für die Öffentlichkeit frei. Der Ursprung unseres Namens ist nicht sicher und es gibt viele Spekulationen darüber.
Jardins du Pacha

Nous sommes les Jardins du Pacha, l'une des attractions les plus populaires de Thessalonique. Nous sommes situés dans la vieille ville, à côté de l'église de Saint Paul. La region, où nous avons été construits, appartenait à l'église et ensuite a été cédée à la Confrérie Philoptochos pour la fondation d'un cimetière. Notre construction s'est achevée en 1904 et nous couvrons une superficie de 1000 m². Ici, il y a une fontaine, une citerne pour la collecte des eaux, une petite porte menant à un espace souterrain et un salon surélevé. Nous étions autrefois le jardin de l'hôpital Agios Dimitrios, mais aujourd’hui l'entrée est gratuite pour le public. L'origine de notre nom n'est pas certaine et il existe de nombreuses conjectures à ce sujet.
